Trim Carpenter

Job Type:Full-Time Compensation:DOE (competitive) Schedule:M-F 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Location:East Valley (AZ) Wallcon’s Door & Trim is part of the Wallcon group of companies having served home builders in the greater Phoenix and Tucson areas for over 30 years. Wallcon is looking to add a Trim Carpenter to our team. Successful candidates will be a skilled problem solver, well organized, detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize duties. Job Duties/Requirements • Lift heavy objects • Read work order form and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, and material, tool, and work aid requirements • Measures, marks, and cuts existing opening to appropriate dimensions for new products • Install trim fixtures • Patch drywall as required • Clean job site after installation • Provide second measures and/or field inspections as required • Work in a way that prevents damage to product • Work independently and make sound decisions • Excellent attention to detail • Meet company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel (i.e. shoes, safety glasses, fall protection, etc.), and reporting any safety issues to the manager Experience/Qualifications: • US work authorization • Field applicants need 2 years of required experience in residential Trim work (baseboards, shelving, doors, casings, etc) • Provide your own tools (compressor and generator provided) • Must have reliable transportation • Ability to multi-task • Creative problem-solving skills • Communicate clearly and concisely • Ability to work well with others • Organized to work efficiently • Good attitude and work ethic • Open to evolving tasks and responsibilities • Willingness to do what needs to be done Benefits: We offer a full Benefit package after probationary period, including: • Group Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance • Basic and Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance, Critical Illness/Accident Coverage • Company Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off • 401k with company match • Company events EOE/AA/M/F/D/V - Drug Free Environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.10 - $29.03 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
