A Day in The Life of a Truck Driver As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. You will prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. *Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Requires applicable truck driver license for state. • Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo • Maintain contact with dispatcher to receive instruction for delivery or pick up • Verify contents of inventory loads with shipping papers • Maintain records in accordance with regulations • Perform emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs etc., • Present bills and receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded What’s in it for You • Wesco is not just a job, but a company where you can learn, develop, and build your career! For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives.
