Tube Bender

We are seeking an experiencedTube Benderto join our manufacturing team. This role involves setting up and operating automated hydraulic tube bending machines to produce custom thermal management units. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HORN and BLM tube benders or similar equipment and be comfortable working from blueprints with minimal documentation. Pay & Benefits: • Pay: $30/hour • Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half • Access to a full suite of benefits • Paid travel expenses to and from job sites • Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room) • Per diem ($45/day) • Flexibility to take time off between assignments Key Skills Summary: • Set up and operate automated hydraulic tube benders. • Perform changeovers including mandrels, wiper dies, clamp dies, and pressure dies. • Conduct First Piece Inspection (FPI) and First Article Inspection (FAI) for each setup. • Bend round, heat-treated copper tubes to specified angles, and off-angles. • Interpret and work from blueprints and 3D model images with minimal written instructions. • Retain verbal instructions and tribal knowledge for repeat setups. • Operate overhead cranes safely when needed. Qualifications: • Proven experience with automated hydraulic tube bending equipment. • Familiarity with HMI controllers and retrofitted machine controls. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. • Comfortable with frequent setups and small lot production. • Experience with quality inspection tools and techniques. • Willingness to assist with tube cutting and other prep tasks as needed.
