UAS Program Analyst

LS Technologies is currently seeking a UAS Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington, DC.

This position will support the Enterprise UAS Services group within the FAA PMO. This position requires participation and coordination with the FAA's Air Traffic Organization and other lines of business, current and future UAS Service Suppliers (USS), and support the development of system and performance requirements, business case studies, and operational analysis. The goal of this program is to support the continued integration of Uncrewed Aircraft into the National Airspace System.

Responsibilities:

• Support the UAS Services Program Office's Operations Lead.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple initiatives and sustainment efforts across a suite of software platforms/services related to UAS integration.
• Support the Enterprise sUAS Operations & Maintenance plan.
• Investigate data anomalies and problem solve in an independent environment.
• Evaluate and recommend new testing technologies, frameworks, and tools that will take the organization to the next level.
• Contribute to the strategic vision for the program office as it relates to the products it produces and the broader UAS integration effort.
• Establish productive working relationships and maintains effective communications with teammates and end-users.
• Participate in onboarding activities for USSs

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5-year experience with/in the National Air Space (NAS) and Air Traffic Control systems, policies, procedures, regulations, and classes of airspace and other aeronautical products.
• Strong communication skills to interface with customers, as well as collaborate in a cross-discipline team environment is required.
• Ability to operate in an environment with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated history of independently delivering high quality and maintainable solutions and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and ability to self-prioritize, manage and adjust multiple tasks as project evolves is required.
• Ability to clearly and concisely document test procedures and results for repeatability or troubleshooting by other software developers
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel. • Must have the knowledge and skills to manage multiple projects, keep track of and identify new task or adjust existing task and expectations as the project evolves • Must have proven social and interpersonal skills to coordinate with a team of professionals who are both technical and non-technical to keep everyone on task and progressing forward also ensure the team maintains a positive and collaborative relationship with external stakeholders • Excellent writing, oral communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to perform detailed work with little guidance and to interact in a positive manner with other government and industry personnel

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related discipline is required. Years of experience can be substituted for a lack of degree.
