THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a Full-Time position M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm MST. Hybrid / Remote schedule is available.

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer with a strong background in native JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces, ensuring optimal user experience across our products.

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Design & Development:
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and evaluate user requirements.
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes to clearly illustrate function and appearance.
  • Build and maintain front-end applications using native JavaScript.
  • Ensure all designs are fully responsive and optimized for various devices.
• User Experience:
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
  • Advocate for the end-user, ensuring the final product offers a top-tier user experience.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and efficient feature implementation.
  • Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge and feedback with the broader team.
  • Communicate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Continuous Learning:
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design and JavaScript development.

THE PERFECT FIT:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven work experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in native JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other relevant web design technologies.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design and development projects.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.

• (Preferred) Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
• (Preferred) Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma).
• (Preferred) Understanding of SEO principles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects as needed 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work and look at a computer screen for extended hours per day.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must complete drug screen upon hire.
• Must pass background screening. "Pass" for us, is defined as no theft related felony within the past 7 years.
• The ability to speak/read English fluently
