The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures. Job Overview: The Security Professional will follow the directives of the Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant, Lead. As a Security Professional you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel and will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service. This position does not receive medical benefits. Instead, they are given PILOBEN (Pay in lou of benefits) so they can purchase them on their own if they choose.This is an additional $4.98/hr for the first 40 hours of each week on top of the $21.50/hr rate. Responsibilities and Duties • Must have the ability to make tough decisions quickly andefficiently in emergency situations • Strong Written and Oral communication skills • Availability to answer calls and solve issues during their shift. • Ability to understand Prosegur policies and procedures • Always wear appropriate and professional uniform attire whileon duty. • Maintain security policies and procedures throughout all shiftsand circumstances • Ability to exercise emotional control, judgment, and objectivity. • Attention to detail, achievement orientation, positive attitudeand self-motivation skills to be able to be proactive, take initiative and achieve results.
