Unarmed Guard

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. A background in law enforcement or military service is preferred, along with relevant certifications in first aid and CPR. Duties • Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks. • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills as necessary. • Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management. • Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents. • Provide assistance in training new security personnel on best practices and procedures. Experience • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable. • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is an advantage. • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; additional training in conflict management is a plus. • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement agencies.
