Unarmed Security Officer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies. • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities. • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage. • Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary. • Document incidents and prepare reports for management review. • Engage in conflict management and resolution with individuals as required. • Participate in training sessions related to loss prevention strategies. Requirements • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Must pass background checks as required by company policies. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
