Job Description
We are looking for reliable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide safety and protection across multiple medical facilities in Texas. The ideal candidate will prioritize observation and prevention, respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, and maintain a calm, approachable presence while working closely with medical staff and security leadership.Key Responsibilities
• Patrol assigned medical facilities, monitoring entrances, exits and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, violence and policy violations.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, alarms and emergencies, including medical emergencies and workplace disruptions.
• Enforce facility policies, procedures and access control requirements.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report hazards, unsafe conditions or security breaches.
• Prepare clear, accurate and timely incident reports documenting unusual or suspicious activity.
• Assist with emergency procedures such as evacuations and lockdowns.
• Provide guidance and nonclinical support to patients, staff and visitors to help maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with internal security leadership and local law enforcement when required.
• Attend mandatory trainings and maintain uptodate knowledge of security protocols.Qualifications (Required)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of security experience (healthcare, corporate or similar environments preferred).
• Knowledge of safety and security best practices in healthcare settings; HIPAA awareness preferred.
• Strong observational, problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays.Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to respond rapidly to incidents and assist in evacuations (running, climbing stairs if needed).
• Physically fit to perform duties safely and reliably.Work Schedule
• Fulltime. Shift assignments vary by site and operational needs. Overnight, weekend and holiday coverage may be required.Compensation & Benefits
