The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential risks are addressed promptly. Responsibilities • Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises. • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify safety hazards or security breaches. • Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain knowledge of CPR techniques. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. • Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations. • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Experience • Previous experience in security is required • Certification in CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is highly desirable. • Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is advantageous. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices is a plus. • Candidates should possess excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
