Job Description

Memorial Healthcare System is expanding its urgent care centers in Broward and northern Miami-Dade counties and seeking an experienced candidate for a full time position. Applicants should be BE/BC in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine/ER, or internal medicine/pediatrics with a minimum 2 years experience in an urgent care setting. Family medicine experience preferred. Candidates should be certified or agree to become certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Ideal candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated through patient management plans, patient follow-up and mid-level practitioner supervision. A thorough knowledge and application of appropriate diagnostic testing and interpretation as well as responsible prescription management are also required. Proficiency with suturing and minor surgical procedures required.
