Urologist Needed in the Charlottesville Area

Augusta Health Urology is a seeking an additional general urologist to join our hospital-employed medical group in Fishersville, VA, a 20 minute drive to Crozet and 30 minutes to Charlottesville.

With four offices across central Virginia (Fishersville, Charlottesville-Crozet, Lexington, and Harrisonburg), Augusta Health Urology is looking to expand its presence in the region. Both experienced urologists and current residents & new graduates are welcome to apply.

Augusta Medical Group is a multi-specialty group consisting of 250+ providers offering primary and specialty care. Consequently, there is a huge referral base – you will be busy from day one.

• Excellent base compensation (>$500K) with urology-friendly rVU production model after 12 months.

• NO trauma-ER call is low/medium volume and shared equally among 6 urologists (1:7 call with new hire, no pending retirements). APPs can assist with inpatient rounding and call.

OUR FACILITIES

• Four urology offices in the area with experienced and tenured nursing staff to run an efficient clinic.
• Very urology-friendly ER (can place most foleys, even coudés!) and inpatient surgical unit (comfortable with CBI management and robotic post-op patients).
• Main OR has 8 rooms with a dedicated cystoscopy suite with experienced urology personnel, as well as a daVinci Xi robot (since 2017).
• New outpatient surgery center with 4 rooms ideal for high-throughput urology cases.
