Urology Faculty – Director of Prostate Cancer Opportunity at UMass, Worcester, MA

UMass Memorial Medical Group is currently seeking a board-certified/board-eligible urologist with fellowship training and special interests in the management of men with prostate cancer. The Department of Urology offers physicians an extraordinary opportunity to work in a high volume academic surgical practice.  The chosen candidates will receive a highly competitive compensation/benefits package and an academic appointment commensurate with experience and training. Clinical, basic, translational, and health-related quality research opportunities are extensive in this stimulating and collegial academic environment.

Successful candidates will have:

• Expertise and fellowship training in prostate cancer surgery and patient management
• Ability to initiate and incorporate novel surgical approaches to prostate cancer care
• Dedication to prostate cancer research (clinical, translational, or basic)
• A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching
• A desire for a high-volume, academic practice
• An academic appointment commensurate with experience and training
