Distinguished Data Architect
Job Description: You will be a member of Technology Excellence group that is recently created under New Business and Emerging Technology. This group will lead Engineering and Operational excellence topics across different pillars within and outside of New Business and Emerging Tech. You will be validating business objectives and metrics with respect to engineering and operational investments. Will define data governance and models to achieve these objectives in public and private cloud deployments for applications related to Health and Wellness, Marketing and Advertising and for a number of new technologies that are getting developed or acquired

Distinguished Data Architect
Job Description: You will be a member of Technology Excellence group that is recently created under New Business and Emerging Technology. Will define data governance and models to achieve these objectives in public and private cloud deployments for applications related to Health and Wellness, Marketing and Advertising and for a number of new technologies that are getting developed or acquired
Responsibilities:
- Interact, collaborate, and contribute across multiple Walmart engineer ing teams to improve technology excellence
- Develop data models to develop KPIs to reduce cost and improve quality of the service
- Analyze business requirements, storyboards and similar artifacts of the scrum process, work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Operational Research and MBA is preferred
- 5+ years experience in Product Management is highly desired
- 15+ years Cloud product experience demonstrating strategy while working with multiple product and business teams
- Experience in using data to reduce cost for Cloud products
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project planning/execution including estimating and scheduling
- Experience of architecture, tools and deployments in the hyper-scalers like GCP/Azure/AWS
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualification:
- Sound understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms
- Experience with NoSQL technologies like Hadoop/CosmosDB/ MongoDB as well as relational databases such as Oracle, SQLServer or MySQL
- Experience with container management platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience in operationalizing automated CI/CD pipelines of ML Models
