Vascular Neurohospitalist

Renown Health is seeking a Vascular Neurohospitalist to join our highly successful medical group and Northern Nevada's largest, and only, not-for-profit locally owned and governed healthcare network.

Vascular Fellowship is mandatory.

Vascular Neurohospitalists round in the NeuroICU treating severe brain hemorrhage, ischemic stroke management, oversee care of complex neurological conditions and prepare the patient for post-acute rehabilitation. Ability to "read and treat" MRI, CT, CTA. 

The Neurohospitalist will be a part of the Stroke Team when on shift and help teach Residents and medical students as Joint Faculty with University of Nevada Reno Medical School. This is an Employed position with Renown Medical Group

The affiliation aims to improve the health of the community, region, and state through research, medical education, and expanded clinical care. Renown physicians participate as joint faculty at UNR Med for teaching, lectures, supervising clinical rotations, and other academic activities for the education of medical and physician assistant students, residents, and fellows.
