VCB R&D Manager

What you'll do:

1. New Product Development: Develop new products according with marketing requirements yearly waterline requirements, follow Pro-launch process to management project scope, budget, resource, schedule and risk.
1) Drives development of a new product with clear goals for product reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability
2)Identifies technology risks and mitigation plans, and carries out changes to plan if necessary to ensure that targets are achieved
2. Normal Products Technology Management:
1) Provide technical support to marketing, sale and operation department.
2) Optimize current products focus on VAVE. Continuously seeks to improve profitability by being aware of costs, but without detracting from perceived product quality.

3)Design products according to custmor special requirements, and etc
3. Team management: execute Eaton APEX process to each team member, including annual goal setting. personal development plan, performance calibration; define training plan to build team capability;
4. Cross functional supporting: closely work with marketing, operation sales to resolve any product issue or fulfill customer requirement; Effectively collaborates with marketing, manufacturing, and sourcing functions on product requirements, design features, and service 5. Smart VCB development for Smart Switchgear project
6. Vacuum circuit breaker for gas insulated switchgear (C-GIS) project
7. Mechanical actuator develop for VN3 circuit breaker with low cost
8. New vacuum circuit breaker develop for inductive load switching, and rapid switching VCB research/develop
9. Build electrical theory knowledge training system within RD team 10. Cooperation and technical support within PDSS RD team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

10 years

Skills:

Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering

Excellence in analytical skills; Black Belt certified; Knowledge of power systems and / or industrial automation controls; Knowledge of and experience with materials and molded components
