Job Description
What we're looking for
A world-class team is looking for a motivated self-starter as our first US-based hire to manage our investment operations.
This will be the first hire in our investment operations team with quick career progression opportunities as we look to quickly hire more team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the investment operations for our investment platform including gathering information from founders and partnered Venture funds for investment opportunities.
- Maintaining relationships with partner VC funds and startups founders.
- Reviewing legal documentation for investments on the platform (with partner legal firms).
- Answering queries / support requests from athletes related to live deals on the app
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of experience in a reputable venture fund OR working at a venture investment platform or SPV provider (eg AngelList, Carta, Republic, Assure).
- You have a good understanding of startup investing and ideally have made some angel investments.
- You have a thorough understanding of the different investment mechanisms for startups (eg SAFEs, convertible notes, priced equity rounds).
- You have a good network in US venture with existing relationships with VCs and startup founders.
- You are adaptable and a quick learner.
- You have an existing passion for or an interest in learning more about the worlds of startup investing and professional sport.
