Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Talent Acquisition to lead our recruiting team. In this new role at Dotdash Meredith, you will report to our CHRO and will be instrumental in developing and refining the overarching recruitment strategy for our growing company, ensuring our processes and programs are aligned to the company's strategic goals/initiatives.. You will work closely with senior leaders across the organization, such as content, revenue, technology and commerce, to ensure a proactive approach to recruitment, delivering high caliber talent to hiring teams, and providing a best in class candidate experience. About the Role:
- Develop and lead execution on recruiting strategies to meet the needs of our key business areas
- Evaluate and implement employer branding and sourcing tools and systems
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the recruiting team
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders, the HR business partners and your team, keeping your finger on the pulse of internal talent movement and growth opportunities.
- In partnership with finance and HRBP leads, manage headcount, forecasting and reconciliation.
- Provide direction on recruiting reporting including but not limited to maintaining a metrics dashboard.
- Partner with the organization, especially with our Head of DEI and our ERGs, to help design and deliver on our diversity, equity, and inclusion talent strategy
- Envision, design, and drive long-term strategies, frameworks and implementation plans for evolving a more inclusive culture through talent attraction. Increase representation at all levels.
- Use data and analytics along with key performance metrics to advise and inform leaders on effective and creative recruitment strategies.
About You:
- 10 + years of experience, including hands-on responsibility for leading a talent acquisition function of 15+
- Digital media experience preferred
- Strong business acumen and client support orientation
- Proven ability to gain trust and credibility with senior leadership to effectively manage shifting priorities across the business
- Demonstrated ability to balance numerous priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to set a strategy and motivate others to achieve necessary deliverables
- Passion for helping people and persuading teams to think creatively about their hiring needs
- Demonstrated experience building an inclusive work environment and attracting and hiring employees from a wide range of backgrounds
- Experience in employer brand building
- Experience building recruiting initiatives across multiple locations, domestically and globally
- Able to digest and analyze data to make sound decisions

Pay Range
Salary: $182000 - $250000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Dotdash Meredith provides to employees (and their eligible family members) a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, unlimited paid time off (PTO), adoption or surrogate assistance, donation matching, tuition reimbursement, basic life insurance, basic accidental death & dismemberment, supplemental life insurance, supplemental accident insurance, commuter benefits, short term and long term disability, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family care benefits, a generous 401K savings plan with a company match program, 10-12 paid holidays annually, and generous paid parental leave (birthing and non-birthing parents), all of which may vary depending on the specific nature of your employment with Dotdash Meredith and your work location.
