Video Intern

Our growing video business demonstrates the need to recruit and train high quality video interns. The company will benefit from the program by utilizing a “try before buy” approach that will help identify talent that will be needed for staff positions in the future. The intern will benefit by working alongside experienced video professionals, observing the way they prosecute projects, as well as receiving compensation for their time.
The ideal internship candidate will have:

• Entered their third year of college
• Exceptional grades
• Clean driving record
• Attained the age 21 years

Video interns hired by 24G will be asked to assist in every phase of video production. Exposing interns to each step in the production cycle helps 24G determine the intern’s strengths and provides a more rounded and beneficial experience for the intern. Tasks that interns may be asked to perform are itemized below by project phase.
Pre-Production:

• Assist with vehicle transport
• Take notes/record vehicle discovery for script writer
• Help secure props
• Prepare script books
• Assist with crew snacks (if needed)

Production:

• Assist with vehicle positioning at shoot (if needed)
• Assist with vehicle detailing at shoot as needed
• Assist Producer and DP as needed
• Enter timecode notes into shot list and mark keeper takes
• Assist with media transfer as needed
• Help strike gear/props/snacks when shoot is over
• Assist with vehicle transport

Post Production:

• Assist with media transfer to Facilis
• Highlight clips that are keeper takes for editor
• Assist editor and Post Supervisor as needed
• Assist with encode and upload of review videos
• Assist with media archiving tasks

This is a paid internship opportunity with options to start in January or May 2024. This program runs for 3-8 months depending on candidate availability. Priority will be given to candidates that are able to participate in the internship program for longer. It is not required to be enrolled in school to be considered for the position.
