Visual Designer

Your mission:

As a Visual Designer at Genpop—a small but powerful team—you're entrusted with the mission to bring the visual narrative of our AAA game title and brand to life. Using your expertise in 2D Graphic Design, you'll craft visually arresting and stylistically compelling graphics that engage our audience and elevate our brand's identity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute captivating graphic designs across various media including in-game assets, promotional materials, and brand collateral.

• Collaborate closely with the art, marketing, and development teams to ensure a cohesive visual strategy that aligns with the game's artistic and narrative themes.

• Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that adhere to brand guidelines.

• Provide critical evaluations and revisions of design assets, maintaining a consistent and unique visual style.

• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and project planning to help define creative direction and visual benchmarks.

• Work on optimizing and adapting designs for various platforms without compromising on aesthetic quality.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in 2D Graphic Design.

• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.

• Strong sense of color theory, typography, and visual composition.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience working in the gaming industry.

• Knowledge of UI/UX principles.

• A standout portfolio showcasing a variety of stylized, high-quality graphic designs.

• Experience in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.

• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating design visions and project needs clearly.

• An active interest in Esports.
