Role Overview The Visual Storytelling Coordinator will support our creative vision by producing high-quality visual content that captures the essence of coffee culture while driving engagement across all touchpoints. We're looking for an emerging visual storyteller, someone who sees stories in steam rising from a cup, finds beauty in the golden hour light hitting our café windows, and is eager to develop their skills in translating those moments into compelling content. This role combines growing technical photography skills with natural storytelling ability, offering significant opportunity for creative growth. Key Responsibilities Cinematic Visual Production • High-Quality Content Creation: Comfortable with producing engaging product photography and videography using professional camera equipment, with commercial-grade skills • Visual Story Development: Create compelling polished visual narratives that showcase coffee culture, artisan processes, and customer experiences through thoughtful creative concepts • Brand Content Production: Support the development of visual concepts that elevate our brand presence across platforms, understanding of advanced cinematography techniques Strategic Content Direction • Multi-Platform Visual Strategy: Create platform-specific content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms, understanding how cinematic storytelling translates across different formats and audiences • Campaign Visual Identity: Design and execute integrated visual campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand activations that maintain cinematic quality across email, social, and digital touchpoints Performance & Community Building • Data-Driven Storytelling: Analyze engagement metrics to understand which visual narratives resonate most deeply, using insights to refine storytelling approaches • Community Cultivation: Foster authentic online communities through visual content that invites participation, user-generated campaigns, and meaningful social interaction What You Bring Visual Expertise • 3+ years of visual content creationwith growing experience in photography, videography, or brand content (coffee, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred) • Technical Foundation: Solid skills with camera equipment and editing software, with eagerness to learn advanced techniques and professional-grade production • Creative Portfolio: Examples of work that shows visual storytelling potential and ability to create engaging content for social media and digital platforms Creative & Strategic Skills • Portfolio of Cinematic Content: Examples of work that demonstrates ability to create scroll-stopping, cinema-quality content for social media and digital platforms Technical & Analytical • Social Media Strategy: Deep understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and engagement strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels • Performance Analytics: Experience analyzing content performance and using data to refine creative strategies Cultural & Person • Visual Storytelling Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for finding and telling stories through visual medium, someone who sees narrative potential in everyday moments • Coffee Culture Appreciation: Understanding of specialty coffee culture, artisan processes, and the community aspects that make coffee more than just a beverage What Success Looks Like You'll know you're succeeding when our social feeds feel less like typical brand accounts and more like curated visual journals that people actively seek out.
