Vocal Teacher (Theatre) /Instructor - ages 8-14) Jan - March

Thank you for considering this position. We are looking for a Vocal Instructor that has substantial Musical Theatre Experience to teach general Theatre Ensembles and also conduct our new "Voice for Theatre" workshop. This position would run from January 2025 through end of March 2025. Previous experience teaching children ages 8-14 is required. Previous Musical Theater performance experience is also required. The weekly schedule is: Mondays 3:30pm - 6pm Tuesday 4pm - 6:30pm Wednesday 4pm - 6:30pm Thursday 3pm - 5:30pm Duties to include: • Teach general vocal to our Theatre Ensembles and • Conduct our new "Voice for Theatre" workshop. Preferences in hiring: Preference will be given to applicants who: • Have previous experience teaching children in a group setting • Have previous verifiable work history of dependability and consistency • Have previous Musical Theatre Teaching experience • Have directed or assistant-directed in previous productions Requirements in hiring: • Must be available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (Wednesday availability not required) of days listed above • Must be able to pass background checks (criminal) • Must genuinely enjoy teaching children and have previous successful and verifiable experience teaching children Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Application Question(s): • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday is a MINIMUM requirement for this position.
