Job Description
Smartly.io is seeking an experienced analytical, strategic and results-driven VP, Growth Marketing!
Partnering with leaders across the company you will develop and evolve ideas that bring together customer engagement, strategic goals and sales objectives to ensure efficient demand capture, lead generation and performance throughout the entire funnel.
You will lead all aspects of demand generation to achieve revenue goals that support the company's growth. Leading scalable, predictable and repeatable processes your team will guide prospects through the funnel, from anonymous visitor and outbound reach to committed customers.
Your team, including sales development, will be charged with implementing and optimizing multi-channel programs that nurture and deliver qualified high-quality leads to our B2B sales team. You will be responsible for defining and achieving channel, waterfall conversion, and ROI goals as well as reporting on them.
Reporting directly to our Chief Revenue Officer, this is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.
As the VP, Growth Marketing, you will...- Lead a team of marketing and sales development professionals to successfully develop a data-driven, comprehensive, full-funnel demand generation and acquisition strategy
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for the SDR team to penetrate, developing playbooks, and campaigns
- Build collaborative partnerships across the organization to identify, launch and refine comprehensive inbound and outbound demand generation strategies
- Own the analysis, reporting and optimization of all demand generation programs with both the ability and desire to optimize ROMI and sales efficiency
- Get to the root of issues and blockers and then implement the tools, technologies, and internal processes to get the job done
- Partner with revenue operations, marketing, and sales leadership to present insights and advocate for programs/campaigns to reach our pipeline and revenue goals.
- Lead analysis and reporting efforts of our metrics in partnership with our sales operations team, and keep cross-functional teams and executives advised of attainment against critical metrics.
- Build detailed and thoughtful digital marketing plans for our launches, communicating them to leadership and our board when needed.
- Develop a strategy that combines both technical and content elements, to drive ongoing improvements in SEO and organic search results
- 10 + years demonstrated ability in a demand generation or revenue management role at a consumer or B2B high tech growth company (adtech or martech a plus)
- Revenue driven, and passionate about helping Smartly.io become the undisputed leader in our industry
- Significant experience partnering cross functionally to find effective and efficient ways to build and accelerate sales pipeline
- The ability to navigate ambiguity and handle competing priorities with ease
- Expertise in multi-stage demand gen funnels and related technologies including HubSpot, Terminus, Salesforce, Highspot, Tableau along with all of the major digital and social platforms
- Deep curiosity about the data underlying the funnel and ability to nerd out on the data
- Proven experience building and managing high performing teams in growth marketing and sales development
- Solid understanding of key sales development tools
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; post-graduate qualifications are a plus
