Job Summary 

iLABS is looking for a VP of HR reporting directly to our CEO. The VP of HR will provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the company’s HR operations. The VP is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals. The VP of HR will have several direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals – and identifying ways to support this mission through talent management.
  • Work closely with CEO to establish and administer human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Organize and direct all HR functions including Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Training, Employee Relations, and Human Resources Operations.
  • Support and reinforce the company culture and people philosophy by liaising with the CEO, to develop and champion company-wide initiatives
  • Formulate and drive the long-range vision and the strategy for the HR Department with a focus on employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements
  • Establish HR budgets, and ensure that resources and operations deliver value
  • Ensure that effective relationships with appropriate internal partners and external vendors are established and leveraged
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience (Beauty and MLM industries a plus)
  • Strong functional background across all general areas of HR (e.g., recruiting, organizational development, talent vitality, compliance, and employee relations).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills - ability to translate complex corporate initiatives by creating relatable, clear messages that resonate with audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Track record of achieving strong results while building and fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with an ability to articulate a clear, compelling vision, use data to inform decisions and to translate strategy to plan to action
  • Strong project management skills with significant experience leading change management
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously; Uses sound judgment to prioritize and meet deadlines, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.
