About the role:
At OpenWeb, we instill a partner-first mentality and culture into everything that we do. Partner Success and providing a world-class service to publishers around the world is absolutely vital to our long-term strategy.Â
As a VP, Partner Success, you are responsible for the overall health, retention, upsell, and expansion opportunities across our large Enterprise Tier 1 publisher accounts. You’ll bring a team player attitude, evangelize in OpenWeb’s mission, and translate your passion for Partner Success into every touchpoint with your partners. This is an individual contributor role.
You’ll interact with senior leadership internally and externally, and play an important role in overall partner advocacy.Â
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for health, adoption, retention, and growth of your account portfolio
- Collaborate with Business Development, R&D, Product, and Marketing teams in order to manage and grow relationships with our strategic partners
- Provide world class customer service; cultivate deep relationships and champions for strategic accounts
- Drive process improvements, coaching/training development, and adopt a value driven approach to partner success
- Act as a thought leader in the publishing and technology space by creating and sharing content internally and externally
- Expand and leverage key relationships to identify opportunities for up-selling or expansion of OpenWeb platform and services
- Proactively lead strategic account planning to align partner KPIs, expansion opportunities, relationship mapping, and effective action plans to best service the account
- Conduct business reviews and establish relationship cadence to ensure partner satisfaction and value-driven growth
- Maintain an appropriate level of knowledge regarding OpenWeb products and services
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in partner success or business development role
- 5+ years of publisher-facing experience
- Passion, empathy, and a winning mentality in providing exceptional service to partners
- Proven ability to lead strategic accounts and projects involving various stakeholders
- Demonstrated SaaS, ad-tech, or publisher experience and a proven track record of achieving revenue goals and KPIs
- Ability to tackle issues with a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism, composure, and accuracy
- Proven ability to function as a point of escalation and make strong decisions
- Ability to negotiate contractual terms and pricing
- Strong research, analytical skills, and data-driven background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills
- Outstanding partner relationship skills and ability to lead executive-level discussions
- Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, business, information technology or a related field preferred
What You'll Get:
The compensation package for the VP of Partner Success role includes an annual salary ranging between $180,000- $200,000 (based on candidate’s experience and skill set). Additionally, this role is eligible for quarterly commissions, equity and benefits including:
