Fundraise Up's AI-powered platform is leveraged by trusted organizations like UNICEF USA American Heart Association Partners In Health and Stand Up to Cancer to double their recurring donor acquisition rates and increase overall digital donation revenue by 2 times.

About the Role:

Fundraise Up is a hyper-growth startup with 250 teammates around the world and on a path to grow to 1000 people in the next few years. We are seeking a VP of People to own all People functions: HR Recruiting Training & Development Compensation and Benefits and Compliances. You'll start with an existing team of 15 which  we expect to double in the next few years. This role is a senior leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts hires and retains top talent.

• Implement programs for professional development leadership training and career progression to enhance employee skills and engagement.

• Design and manage performance review processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals providing feedback and addressing performance issues.

• Develop competitive compensation and benefit plans to attract and retain employees including salary structures bonuses health insurance and retirement plans.

• Maintain positive employee relations resolve conflicts and ensure a healthy work environment.

• Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and can thrive.

• Align the organization’s structure culture and workforce with its strategic objectives.

• Ensure the organization complies with all local and country employment laws and regulations.

• Develop implement and revise HR policies and procedures to meet the organization’s needs and comply with legal standards.

• Use data and analytics to make informed decisions about workforce management planning and optimization.

• Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.

• Participate in strategic planning at the executive level aligning people strategies with business objectives.

• Be the keeper of our culture.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Deeply understands both Eastern European & North American cultures. LATAM is a plus.

• Fully own all pillars of People: Hiring HR Training and Compensation.

• Certified in either SHRM-SCP or SPHR.

• No requirement for a US work visa. Must be able to travel to the US.

• Minimum of 15 years People experience including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role preferably as VP of People.

• Experience managing a team of 15-50 members and previously held a VP position at a tech cloud startup with 200-600 headcount.

• Reported to CEO/COO/CFO not Chief People Officer.

• Ability to work flexible hours including sometimes after hours to sync with the US headquarters.

• Located in the CET timezone with availability to overlap with US working hours.
