VPK Lead Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will certified VPK teacher and have strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, social skills, and overall development in young learners. Responsibilities • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. • Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed. • Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies. • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. • Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns. • Maintain a safe and organized classroom space conducive to learning. • Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements • Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. • Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management. • Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred. • Familiarity with literacy education techniques and standardized testing processes is advantageous. • Ability to create engaging activities for toddlers and preschool-aged children. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
