Summary:Join our Digital Technology department as a Vulnerability Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in identifying and helping to fix security weaknesses across our systems. Your work will involve everything from detecting software and operating system flaws to addressing misconfigurations on various platforms, including cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct proactive vulnerability detection and assessment across all systems.
• Prioritize identified vulnerabilities based on potential impact and exploitability, using CVSS scores and threat intelligence.
• Facilitate and coordinate remediation efforts to efficiently address vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of vulnerability management processes.
• Provide actionable guidance to system owners on remediation strategies.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in vulnerability management or cybersecurity analysis.
• Proficient in identifying and analyzing software bugs, OS flaws, and misconfigurations in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and other VM tools.
• Ability to assess technical risk, interpret CVSS scores, and leverage threat intelligence.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, and security controls.
• Experience in developing reports for technical and executive audiences, using SIEM or reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset to work with IT, security, and application teams.
