Warehouse Custodian

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Custodian will ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike. Duties • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of various surfaces. • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions. • Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management. • Carry out residential painting projects when required to enhance the appearance of the facility. • Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and effectively. Experience • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. • Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous. • Skills in floor care techniques such as buffing are highly desirable. • Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered a plus. • A strong commitment to maintaining a clean environment and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
