The Role
Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) is looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Warehouse & Inventory Associate that can support our warehouse facility in Charlestown, MA with shipping, receiving, and material handling. Your responsibilities will include maintaining inventory records, fulfilling orders, kitting for the assembly line, and preparing balance and shortages reports. You should have proficient math skills, be a team player, and possess strong communication skills. You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager, so it is important to have warehouse experience, as well as intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications and/or Google Suite applications and ERP software.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and control accurate inventory levels in NetSuite (ERP) and stock location integrity
- Stocking, kitting, issuing, and other inventory management related activities to support company and program requirements; ensuring compliance with corporate policies and requirements
- Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer recordsÂ
- Research and reconcile the root cause of inventory discrepanciesÂ
- Monitor inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to the team when replenishment is required (KanBan)
- Lead and complete physical inventories/cycle counts/reconciliations in coordination with Finance
- Releasing material to production floor in accordance with Production Plan, including picking and kitting of material
- Package, label, and stock material in bins, racks, or shelves, according to identifying part number
- Organize and size inventory locations
- Move or transport material from stock area to production areas, as needed
- Assist the Shipping & Receiving Department, as neededÂ
- Participate in our “Clean as You Go” program and contribute to a safe work environmentÂ
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as needed
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing preferred
- 2+ years of experience with inventory control in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with an ERP required; NetSuite experience is preferred
- Intermediate experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience with MHE (Material Handling Equipment) preferred
- This role is an active On-Site position 5 days per week where you will be on your feet the majority of the day and requires the ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
