Warehouse Specialist 100% (f/m/d)

Our local product group Insulation & Components is the technology leader in design and manufacture of high voltage transformer bushings. All renowned international companies of the electrical industry, active in power generation, transmission and distribution are among our customers. We have a top position in the high voltage bushing areas worldwide.

We are searching for a Warehouse Specialist for our location in Zürich Altstetten. Tasks:

• Posting of goods receipts, reconciliation of shipping documents of goods and system, repacking of goods.
• Operating forklift, crane and other handling equipment
• Adjustments in the system, carrying out stock transfers, stock removals and stock transfers
• Supply and disposal of the workplaces with empties and waste (refuse, cardboard, wood, etc.)
• Independent organization of own work in compliance with processes
• Compliance with operational requirements (working hours, deadlines, assigned tasks, etc.)
• Supporting assistance in the involved areas
• Continuous improvement of processes by applying modern LEAN approaches and change management methods.
• Responsible for compliance with company and legal requirements for environment, health and safety.
• Develop and establish a self-directed safety culture.
• Maintain order and cleanliness according to given 5S standards.
• Communication with upstream and downstream units in the logistics chain
• Supporting inventories (inbound warehouse locations).
• Controls and monitors all processes in logistics
• Partial substitution of the Warehouse Manager meetings

• Completed training as a logistics technician EFZ
• Networked way of thinking and numerical flair as well as good SAP knowledge and good MS Office skills
• Flexible, reliable, conscientious personality, who keeps a cool head in hectic times
• Structured, independent, flexible and result-oriented working style
• Team player, high commitment and assertiveness with a good portion of negotiation skills
• Good written and spoken German and English skills are an advantage
• High motivation and flexibility
