Warehouse Worker Part-Time Swing Shift

Overview

At WAXIE, distribution is the heart of what we do. Each of our warehouses carry a full stock of sanitary supplies and janitorial equipment to quickly and efficiently meet our customer’s needs. This wouldn’t be possible without our “behind the scenes” warehouse crew, committed to sustaining a safe and harmonious day-to-day operation. Led by a Warehouse Manager, our team ensures inventory is properly received, distributed, and shipped to our customers- the WAXIE way!

Scheduled hours for this position are 3 PM to 7 PM with the potential for overtime.  Hours can also be flexlible to 4 PM to 8 PM or 5 PM to 9 PM.

Pay Range $18.50 to $21.00 Per Hour depending on experience

Essential Duties

• 1. Restock leftover receiving and check in stock transfers and vendor pickups.
  2. Pull division stock transfers
  3. Pull and deliver specials
  4. Prepare for night deliveries when there are night deliveries
  5. Routing of tickets
  6. Will-calls
  7. General clean up
  8. Move trucks
  9. Fridays help prep for Saturday inventory
  10. Re-pack damaged product
  11. Bail cardboard
  12. Change forklift batteries
  13. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous exposure to warehouse environment a plus, but not required.
• Previous experience utilizing material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, hand truck and baler) preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of RF system a plus.
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
