Washington University School of Medicine – Faculty Position in Bone & Mineral Disorders

The Division of Bone and Mineral Diseases at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis is seeking a BC/BE physician to join our nationally recognized clinical program in metabolic bone and mineral disorders. We welcome applicants with established expertise as well as clinicians who wish to develop subspecialty expertise in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. Structured onboarding, mentorship, and training are available for those expanding their focus in this area.

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient practice focused on osteoporosis, calcium/phosphorus disorders, and rare or genetic bone diseases
  • Opportunities to teach residents, fellows, and students
  • Optional involvement in clinical research

  • Rank commensurate with experience

Our program includes three clinical sites and a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment. As one of the premier Bone & Mineral divisions in the country—originating with the pioneering work of Louis V. Qualifications

  • MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, or related field
  • Background or strong interest in endocrinology, rheumatology, women’s health, or metabolic bone disease
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and academic teaching
