Web Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong background in back end Shopify plus development. Must be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You will assist our Lead Developer by managing, maintaining, and developing custom solutions for 3 different websites. Render is a plus along with Node.js *THIS IS AN IN PERSON ROLE M-F* Duties • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern technologies and frameworks. • Implement responsive web design principles to ensure compatibility across devices. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development. • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Manage version control using Git and collaborate with team members through platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket. • Engage in Agile methodologies to facilitate efficient project management and delivery. • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as needed. • Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and foster team knowledge sharing. Skills • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, TypeScript. • Experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, Python (Django), PHP (Laravel), Ruby on Rails, C#, .NET. • Familiarity with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite. • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. • Understanding of system architecture principles and software development life cycle (SDLC). • Ability to work with version control systems like SVN or Git. • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for application deployment. • Knowledge of web services protocols including REST and SOAP. • Strong understanding of SEO principles for optimizing web applications. • Experience with E-commerce platforms and content management systems.
