We are actively seeking a Web UX and Optimization Specialist to join our team located in Dedham, MA.

Position Summary
This role will focus on optimizing the customer experience to support revenue generation and growth through its B2B Web properties and requires a clear understanding of the impact of site functionality on the B2B User Experience, including optimizing code, video, and image assets for optimal site speed, mobile design, and visual presentation from the moment a customer arrives on the Website through the point of conversion.
With a focus on the digital approaches to present and simplify complex product offerings that address multiple audience segments and accompanying campaign landing pages, this role requires an excellent understanding of the customer journey and interaction across Websites, platforms, and the data and imagery that supports them including within the Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms. A clear understanding of digital visual assets and their impact on site performance are key.
The Web UX & Optimization Specialist will work closely with the Sr. eCommerce & Digital Marketing Director and the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager through the process of implementing the re-platforming of the AliMed Big Commerce Website and Blog, while auditing and addressing performance issues to optimize and support AliMed's existing legacy Web platform.
Essential Duties:
Web Strategy Development and Execution
- Audit and devise a plan to improve user experience and address issues affecting page load speed while building in efficiency and simplicity
- Collaborate with management to support mobile-first development and revenue growth strategies on Alimed.com and other platforms
- Regularly report on traffic, page analytics to properly guide teams on overall web strategy, and product/page performance
- Provide page layout recommendations and plan for resulting improvements to increase online conversions
- Initiate and manage usability testing with a continuous growth marketing approach
Web Re-platforming
- Work with internal and external implementation teams through conversion to a Big Commerce Platform, supported by a Salsify PIM and an Acquia (formerly Widen) DAM on the new site's implementation through to testing, launch, acceptance, and ongoing execution
- Implement blog, AI/applications for chat, onsite search, personalization, and email marketing
- Migrate data from one platform to the next while maintaining data integrity
- Create enhanced resources sub-domain for the Website including video blog and landing pages
Website Maintenance
- Update, upload, clean, organize, product feeds, categories, images, copy, SKUs, product inventory, video assets, files (product sell sheets/resources), etc.
- Institute best practices, conduct regular audits of site testing speed and functionality, ensuring imagery and copy are accurate and all information is clear and free of redundancies/duplicate information.
- Troubleshoot, identify, & resolve all website issues, identified through Website audits, page breaks (404 errors, 301 redirects, etc.)
- Coordinate and work with IT and developers on technical support issues
- Regularly collaborate with partner ISV through Atlassian and other collaborative tools
- Update content, imagery, video, blog, podcast assets as needed by internal/external stakeholders
- Coordinate with product strategists for new product uploads
- Develop Landing Pages for demand generation initiatives
- Ability to maintain current custom CMS - and manage database results by setting and enforcing standards, controls and best practices, and troubleshoot problems to ensure database performance. Resolutions may include database restructures, asset improvements (i.e., hi-res photography, image enhancement overlays, and broken link or discontinued item redirection)
- Stay current with industry best practices through participation in educational opportunities; Webinars, and memberships in professional organizations
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- BA or BS degree (preferably in marketing or design)
- 3-5 years' experience with progression towards similar roles
- Experience with Big Commerce, Shopify, Word Press or similar cloud-based Web Platforms
- Understanding of dataflows from Web to PIM, DAM, and core data values critical to Web UX, sourced by each system
- Working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS5, JavaScript, and cross-platform/cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent understanding of User Experience, and A/B testing tools and processes
- Exposure to and knowledge of AI apps and site addons for personalization, onsite search, ESPs and reporting features
- Ability to cross-train creative teammates with a diverse level of digital knowledge
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SEO (Semrush, Google Search Console), Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (including GA4), and marketing automation tools such as Klayiyo and on-site analytics
- Work autonomously yet collaborate and coordinate activities with teammate priorities to ensure your efforts ladder up to the larger team and company-wide strategies
- Excellent attention to detail and strong project management Must be able to manage and prioritize your own work and the work of others to meet project milestones and deliverable dates
- Data/information standardization and normalization experience
- Familiarity with PHP, JQuery, Node.js and BigCommerce Stencil a plus
