Weekend Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms. Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. • Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. • Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials in designated areas. • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. • Assist with special cleaning projects as required by management. Skills • Proven experience in cleaning and maintaining various types of facilities. • Previous hotel or cleaning experience is a plus. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Experience in janitorial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous. • Custodial experience with an understanding of housekeeping management practices is beneficial.
