Weekend Janitorial Cleaner

LJ's Cleaning Solutions is looking for a motivated, high energy Crew Member that performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties. Schedule:Friday trough Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm (1hr lunch break) Pay:$15/hour, bi-weekly pay As aJanitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily cleanliness and sanitation of office and industrial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in cleaning and custodial experience to perform tasks such as floor care and general maintenance. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will be essential in executing your duties effectively. Additionally, your relevant skills in industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance will enhance the overall efficiency of our cleaning operations. Responsibilities: • Cleans offices, restrooms, hallways, lobby area, food service areas and any other common areas that may require attention. • Perform light floor care duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors. • Cleans common surfaces, light fixtures, vents, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings. • Empty and reline all trash cans in the facility and warehouse. • Restock supplies as needed. • Will be required to use cleaning chemicals properly and safely per LJ’s standards. • May perform routine equipment cleaning. • Work will require repetitive motion on a daily basis and may include bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing. • Work requires lifting and moving heavy items 50 pounds, anything over 50 pounds requires assistance. Requirements: • 18+ years of age • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent • Proven experience in custodial/facilities maintenance roles • Ability to pass a criminal background check and E-Verify • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
