Summary: Corrosion Engineering is seeking a Welder who is responsible for welding parts that the fitter fits up according to blueprint weld symbols. This position is atemp to hireposition. Benefits and other company perks will be available once 520 hours of work have been performed. Early morning shift (4:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Monday - Thursday (10–12-hour shifts). Fridays and overtime when necessary (depending on company needs). Summary of Responsibilities: - Use wire cutters, chipping hammers, squares, grinders, welding equipment to weld product as needed - Weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications - Know how to read schematics/work order/blueprints with no issue - Know how to weld boxes, liners, screens, etc - Help others in different sections of the department when needed Requirements: - 2+ years of welding experience - FCAW Dual Shield Flux Core w/ Gas experience preferred - Strong attention to detail and quality control skills - Know how to read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th - Able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds - Able to kneel, bend, and squat to perform required duties - Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled area - Must be able to work in a loud area - Punctuality and reliability - U.S citizenship is required This position outlines the basic tasks and requirements for the position noted.
