Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding). This role requires the ability to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship on construction sites. The Welder will be responsible for building structures and components while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Responsibilities • Operate welding equipment and power tools to perform welding tasks effectively. • Fabricate metal components by interpreting schematics and technical drawings. • Assemble parts and structures using various welding techniques, including FCAW. • Utilize press brake machines for bending and shaping metal materials. • Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives. • Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements. Experience • Proven experience as a Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and welding equipment safely. • Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is essential. • Experience in fabricating, assembling, and building metal structures is a plus. • Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations. • A commitment to safety practices on the job site is required.
