Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements. • Conduct quality inspections on welds and finished products to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards. • Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling during the welding process. • Execute rigging tasks as needed for positioning materials and components. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Skills • Proven experience in construction site environments. • Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, and plasma cutting techniques. • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge including the use of calipers and micrometers for precise measurements. • Experience with fabrication processes including ductwork assembly and pipe threading. • Strong understanding of basic math principles for accurate calculations in welding tasks. • Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively. • Knowledge of machining processes is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
