Our client, a nationwide recycling manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced Welder, to join their growing team in South Holland.
Our candidate of choice will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to engineering schematics and layout drawings. Strong attention to detail is required along with knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
Assemble components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks into control panels.
Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper wire routing, labeling, and terminations.
Test completed panels for continuity, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and correct wiring errors or component issues as needed.
Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Document assembly and testing results as required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read drawings and fabricate based on drawing design, specifications, and procedures
We are looking for welders highly proficient in MIG welding along with the ability to fabricate and assemble large horizontal balers

Experienced MIG welder
Requires limited supervision to perform tasks assigned
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use tape measure, layout out, and set assemblies
Possess good communication skills & an ability to adapt to changing situations
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
Depending on job classification, may require basic math and/or tape measure reading
Depending on job classification, may require ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations
