Welder Apprentice

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities • Perform welding tasks using various techniques including stick welding. • Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements. • Operate forklifts and cranes safely for material handling. • Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure they meet required standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Experience • Proven experience as a Welder with proficiency in stick welding and other techniques. • Familiarity with blueprint reading and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. • Experience in fabricating ductwork and assembling metal structures is preferred. • Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
