Welder / Fabricator

The Role:We have an opening for a welder/fabricator at our Seattle Manufacturing Division to assist with the fabrication of custom doors and related materials. - This position is full time Monday through Friday with opportunity for overtime. - Benefits provided: medical, dental, vision, life, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401k plan! - Compensation based on experience Requirements: - Welding experience – Aluminum and Steel - Weld in flat and vertical planes - Examine weld for bead size - Grind or clean weld joints - Repair improperly welded piece and fill holes - Position and clamp pieces together or assemble them in jig fixture - Assemble components together using hand and power tools - Clean up work area daily - Experience using a variety of power and hand tools and be able to accurately read a tape measure - Ability to build from plans - Team oriented mindset but able to work independently - Experience with operating a forklift is a plus - Valid Washington State Drivers License and clean driving record is a plus - MUST be able to stand for long periods of time - MUST be able to lift 50 pounds * A pre-employment drug test and background check will be required.
