Integrity Staffing has exciting new opportunities for Shipyard Welders in the Houston, TX area! Role & Responsibilities: • Must be familiar with welding on a Miller Machine • Weld stainless steel barge & boat repair areas, internal compartments & cargo tanks, external surface areas, and specialty components & areas with the required number of passes to achieve full penetration welds. • Grind barge & boat repair areas, internal compartments & cargo tanks, and external surface areas in preparation for welding • Operate welding & grinding equipment (ex. Miller Machine), blowers, hoses, etc., to accomplish weld & repair duties • Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another, which may be of varying heights and access parameters. • Lifting objects of a minimum of 10lbs, with a maximum single-person lift limit of 50lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying.Qualifications & Education Requirements: • Must pass a 3G/4G welding test to obtain internal skill classification. • Must have experience with SMAW (Stick) and FCAW (Flux Core) • Able to work without contact lenses. • Must have welding experience using 100% C02 • Must have stainless steel welding experience in the Ship Repair industrySchedule: • Monday-Sunday 6am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-12am (midnight) • Monday-Sunday 5am-2:30pm and 3:00pm-1amPay: • $18-23/hour#I08
