Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. (Other duties may be assigned) • Selects fabrication equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding procedures. • Bolts, clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. • Sets up equipment and welds parts using Arc, Gas-Shielded Arc, or Gas Welding equipment. • May assemble parts by bolting. • Responsible for lay-out, fitting and welding fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms. • Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations. • Pipe and pressure vessel welding according to ASME standard, • Structural welding; measurement skids. • Repair welds using fabrication equipment to include but not limited to using cutting torches, hand grinders, surface grinders and wheel grinders. Education/Experience: Associates degree or three to five years related experience and/or training in a related field. Forklift experience is a plus. Welder certification in stainless steel, Carbon steel, Aluminum, Hastaloid, Duplex, Super duplex, and monel. Experience in MIG, STICK, and TIG.
