Welder / Mechanical Assembler

We’re hiring a Shop Welder / Fabricator / Mechanical Assembler for our SE Houston area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: • Job Title: Shop Welder/ Fabricator / Mechanical Assembler • Location: Southeast Houston • Pay: $20-$22/hr. • Hours: 6am-2:30pm M-F • Duration: temp-to-hire • Description of Duties: Refurbish and repair industrial material lifts; Perform manual forging, shaping, sizing and heat treating of metal products; Fabricate, weld, repair, and paint metal products from samples and sketches; Complete mechanical assembly of products, etc. • Requirements: Must have 2+ years’ welding experience; HS Diploma or GED; Ability to determine types of welds needed on various metals; Ability to operate oxy cutting torch, welder, forklift, and soldering tools; Must read /interpret prints, diagrams, and sketches; Must have valid DL and good driving record WHO WE ARE: Carlton Staffing is a local staffing firm in Texas with over 44 years of experience!
