Welder Mig/Tig

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards. This role involves working on construction sites and requires proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and FCAW. The successful applicant will be responsible for building and fabricating components from sheet metal and other materials while adhering to strict codes and standards. Responsibilities • Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to specifications. • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine project requirements. • Utilize power tools and equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely on the construction site. • Perform quality checks on welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. • Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Experience • Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder in a construction or manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques is preferred. • Ability to work with sheet metal and various materials effectively. • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations in the welding industry. • Experience using power tools, cranes, and other heavy machinery is advantageous. • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
