Welder / Mobile Commercial Door & Security Hardware Technician Company:New Element LLC Location:Redmond, WA Job Type:Full-time + Commission Pay:$25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE) Job Description: New Element LLC is hiring aWelder / Mobile Commercial Door & Security Hardware Technicianfor afull-time, career-building opportunityin the commercial door and security industry. This unique role blendslight welding and fabricationwithon-site locksmith and hardware installation servicesacross the Puget Sound region. It’s an ideal position for someone withbasic welding experiencewho’s looking for stable, year-round work and a long-term career path in a skilled trade.We provide all necessary training and a company vehiclefor service work. Key Responsibilities: • PerformMIG weldingand light fabrication on commercial hollow metal doors and frames • Prep, modify, and assemble door and hardware components in the shop • Travel to customer job sites using acompany vehicle • Rekey locks, cut keys, and install commercial hardware (closers, panic bars, deadbolts, etc.) • Complete field service jobs independently after training • Keep accurate job records and coordinate with office staff • Provide professional, reliable service both in-shop and in the field Requirements: • Valid driver’s license • Basic welding experience (MIG preferred); perfect for entry-level welders or recent grads • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use power tools • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform hands-on work • Detail-oriented, punctual, and comfortable working independently • Eagerness to learn locksmithing and commercial hardware —no prior experience needed Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly Pay:$25.00 – $30.00 (DOE) • Commissionopportunities for service and installation jobs • Company vehicleprovided for all job-related travel • Paid training in locksmithing, commercial door hardware, and access control • Paid time off and holidays • Stable employment withlong-term career growth opportunities Schedule: • 8-hour shifts • Monday to Friday • Occasional overtime or weekend work as needed • Year-round steady workload Location Requirements: • Must be able to work on-site inRedmond, WA 98052 • Willing torelocate before starting(if applicable) • Local travel required within thePuget Sound area Work Location: In person at our Redmond facility and in the field using a company-provided vehicle Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Shift: • 8 hour shift Application Question(s): • Do you have any Welding experience?
