Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience working with various materials including fabrication of metal frames and embeds used in the manufacturing of precast concrete and GFRC. This role involves interpreting schematics, utilizing power tools. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Duties • Interpret and work from shop tickets, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components. • Utilize welding techniques to join metal parts, ensuring strong and durable connections. • Operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively in the fabrication process. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols on the construction site. • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications • Proven experience as a welder or fabricator in a construction or manufacturing environment. Such as use of stud welder, wire feed welder, chop saw and grinder. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings as well as ability to measure and cut materials as required, and ability to fit angled pieces. • Knowledge and understanding of welding equipment and common tools is required. • Ability to operate cranes safely for lifting heavy materials during fabrication. • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools and machining equipment. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
