Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires hands-on experience in a construction or manufacturing environment, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. The Welder will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities • Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and piping. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. • Conduct pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging as required by project needs. • Measure components using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in fabrication. • Operate forklifts and cranes safely while moving materials around the construction site. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. • Familiar with Structural welding Qualifications • Welding Certification • Proven experience in welding and fitting within a construction or manufacturing environment. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. • Familiarity standards related to welding practices. • Must have own transportation. • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments. • Experience with machining, soldering, and assembly processes is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments. • Valid certifications in welding techniques are preferred but not mandatory.
